| "Clay working has been a habit of mine for twenty
eight years. My decisions for design have ranged through many areas: figurative, representative, abstract and utility ware. I work with clay because it is a versatile, natural material which will take almost any form that I can imagine. |

I work by hand building
because that is my strength, but occasionally enjoy the wheel because I aim
to also be a potter. Every aspect of the ceramic arts is of great
interest to me... I love to see what people can do with their imaginations. For me - I follow my instincts more and more and let the road follow itself." |
