where is Fired Art Retreat ?
Mid-way between Sydney and
Brisbane, a few minutes drive off the Pacific Highway that runs adjacent
to Nambucca Heads - our nearest town. It is located ten
minutes drive from the coast which has lovely tidal river views and
long, unspoiled beaches.
The surrounding countryside is of rolling green
hillsides and forests, punctuated with country towns such as
quaint and historic Bowraville, river town Macksville with Valla and Scotts Head - two beach villages in the area.
Situated half way between Kempsey and Coffs Harbour, our
Nambucca Valley is one of the most picturesque and undiscovered
locations in New South Wales.

THINGS TO TELL US ABOUT:
1) Dietary preferences
We want to know your food fancies to make your
meals as you like them.. Are you a vegetarian? A vegan? Do
you eat meat of particular varieties? Are you watching your calories or do you have a liking for cheeses and
cake? Do you likewine or other alcoholic beverages? If so, which ones?
2) Disabilities, Health Concerns
Do you have any physical disabilities that require
particular amenities? (We have many stairs and
levels which will impair the movement of persons with walking difficulties).
3) Have you had any experience in the arts ?
What area of art practice are you interested in ?
(Drawing,
painting, clay sculpture, wheel work,
mould making, glazing
and glaze techniques,
decoration techniques, etc?)
4) What is the area of interest you have in
doing a workshop at the Fired Art Retreat ?

5) Will you require collection and return to
the Coffs
Harbour Airport?
If you do we must incur a charge of $50 for
the two 50 kilometer each-way trips, totalling
200 kilometers.
