TERRAFORMA EXHIBITION

"Terraforma" was the culmination of three years of loosely associated work coming together in a collection. These are forms were drawn together by style and imagery for the themes of Life, Growth and Death, with the rose as a metaphor for celebration and commemoration of all three aspects of 'being'.

Almost all work is hand built, using low fired  white and terracotta paper clays.  Colours and designs are made with coloured inclay clays, terra sigillata and body stains, slips and engobes.  Paintings are with both oils and acrylics.
